Loving Life In Eastport

By: On: December 3, 2008 at 7:54 am

It’s impossible to not appreciate the pristine beauty of Eastport, Maine. Every day seems like a perpetual vacation. I’ve found it easy to settle in and live life on Maine time… The pace is slower, there’s no need to rush, and it’s a great feeling to not be tied to the consumerism of living in the city.

As often as possible I get out and walk, rain or shine – warm or cold. I’m itching to paint again and looking forward to a new camera to hone my skills. For now I am loving life in Eastport.

100,000 Welcomes Pamela and Congrats on your successful journey – on this snowy but prestine day – Jan.31, ’09

I’m a transplant from Boston and wanted to be near the ocean – in my later years.  You might have known of Nahant – you being from the North Shore too.

I’m here in the Quoddy Village area of Eastport.

I’ve been here since ’05 and had my proudest momment since becoming a resident when I walked into Shead High School and voted for Barack Obama on Election Day.

Welcome again to you, your daughter and Pandora.

    I’ll write again.

    Kind regards,

    Neil

  2. Thanks for welcome Neil. I am familiar with Nahant and Quoddy Village. I love Eastport, really to be here. Have to agree on election day, I was able to register to vote here that day and very happy to cast my vote for Obama.
