The festival of Beltane is celebrated on May 1 in the Celtic tradition. It is marked as the midpoint between spring and summer. Starting the night before, fires were lit and it was a time of celebration, with dancing around the fire, invoking this as a time for renewing fertility and abundance, as crops were planted.
When I listen to Loreena McKennitt, I can envision the ancients dancing around the fire to music much like this:
Today I open my heart and I welcome more success, more abundance, and a deep sense of great well-being. I am open to recieve and willing to share what I have towards the greater good of all. ~ Pamela J. Leavey

Musing and Rambling
Sometimes I muse and I ramble because I can... I muse about life and things that matter to me...
