I have always held on to the belief change, as inevitable as it is, happens for a reason. Sometimes we do not recognize at first that all change has benefits. We have doubts, fears and concerns. In these times, I find this affirmation from Julia Cameron to be helpful:
“Divine wisdom underlies all events. No change is without the possibility of benefits. No transition, however harrowing and difficult, fails to bring good. Despite appearances to the contrary, all events unfold according to a higher harmony. I attune myself to this unfolding. I release my doubts, fears and misgivings to a higher hand. By asking Spirit to comfort me, I am cradled in my human frailty yet strengthened in my spiritual connection. I turn to Spirit in all circumstances. I open to the higher good that unfolds through my compliance.”
“Today, I acknowledge the presence of Spirit in all circumstances. I attune myself to the higher plan that works through me and for me. I expect help and accept it. Divine consciousness is attuned to my needs. I am not unheard.” – Transitions: Prayers and Declarations for a Changing Life
