The poem Trudell is reciting is “Reason to This.” It’s featured in his book, Lines from a Mined Mind: The Words of John Trudell.

I’ve seen John Trudell perform a few times with his band, Bad Dog, while living in Los Angeles. They are a must see if you ever have the opportunity.

Trudell is a supporter of: “Give Love Give Life.”

I stopped at Home Depot in New Hampshire over the weekend to pick up some business supplies and I found myself wandering through the gardening section picking out seed packets of my favorite vegetables.

I am longing for planting season… waiting for the last frost, to be exact, so that I can plant my seeds, tend my garden and then reap it’s harvest in the Summer.

I will no doubt plant some flowers as well, but my focus at this point is planting my own little victory garden. And speaking of gardening and flowers, the NY Times has really good read today: Hands-On History Lessons.

The focus at BohemianWomen.org is to bring together women in the arts to share their work and their views on the arts, culture, lifestyle and the business of promoting arts and crafts.
