Brides Across America Sponsors Designer Wedding Gown Event in Massachusetts
June 17, 2013
Brides Across America is featured in the current issue of People Magazine this week with an awesome piece about the non-profit organization, based in Georgetown, MA, founded by Heidi Janson.
In just five years the nonprofit has given away more than 10,000 gowns, bringing wedding bliss to active-duty servicemen and women across the country.
“To be able to help someone fulfill a dream is a great thing,” says Janson, 48. “It’s like a Cinderella moment, where just for a little while, you can help them smile and forget their struggle.”
The brides say they are eternally grateful.
Massachusetts Brides to Be can help Brides Across America donate thousands more bridal gowns to military brides, by Shopping For A Cause at the Marching Of The Brides Designer Wedding Gown Sale in Andover, MA on June 26th:
Tickets for the event are available via EventBrite.
My daughter is a recent military bride. At the time of her wedding, we didn’t know about Brides Across America. The organization does good works to support the troops all across our country…
Come out and shop for the cause…
