Why I Will Think Twice Before Buying Cynthia Rowley Clothing
November 27, 2013
I bought* a pair of Cynthia Rowley black pajamas with white piping on them at Marshalls in Newburyport, MA a few weeks ago. Sadly, the pajamas seem to have had way too much black dye in them. Even with washing them multiple times, they have permantly stained a set of white 400 ct cotton damask sheets, a set of pale pink 400 ct cotton damask sheets and a pale pink fleece bathrobe.
Because they are pajamas and they have been worn I can not return them to Marshalls. I’ve soaked everything stained in OxyClean, however the stains did not come out of either set of sheets or the bathrobe.
I am beyond disappointed in my $24.99 purchase that will cost me approximately $250 to replace the 2 sets of sheets, the bathrobe and the pajamas.
I’m not one to publicly complain about a product, but everyday this experience has made me think if I had this issue, other women who bought the same pajamas also had the same problem. I’ve always been a fan of the Cynthia Rowley brand but because of this experience I will think twice before buying any clothing from the Cynthia Rowley line again.
