Double Dories in the Green Still is one of my favorite shots of the Banks Dories at Lowell’s Boat Shop in Amesbury, Massachusetts. I am drawn to the patterns and colors of the reflections of the boats on the Merrimack River. The water is always moving, even when it looks still. In this photo color of the water, green, matches the green trim on the dory.
