Here’s my Harsh Writing Advice for the day:

HARSH WRITING ADVICE: If you're a writer and you're sharing news on Twitter instead of writing, sharing news on Twitter is not your job. Writing is your job.

Everyday I remind myself: I am a writer. Writing is my job.

HARSH WRITING ADVICE: If you don't write down those thoughts in your head, that one line that popped into your mind, that feels like the start of a piece, no one else will. Write that down.

HARSH WRITING ADVICE: Get other non-writing projects out of the way, they are a distraction. Get them done and then get to writing.
