As I move through this day in the moment, I am grateful for the little things that are present from one moment to the next that bless my life each day in new and different ways. I am moved to respond in kind to a smile on a strangers face. I listen as though it were the grandest symphony to the birds that sing at the break of day. I revel in the sweet serenity of stillness. To be present is to fully appreciate all that there is in everything.

The question for me daily, is how can I make a difference in the world? With keen eyes and a listening ear, as I strive to understand the problems of world, I affirm each day, that every voice for social justice matters. Every heart filled with compassion matters. Every soul exuding empathy matters. I can not solve the problems of the world, but I know that in my own way, I contribute each day to making a difference.
