It is so important to spread my wings, venture out of our safety zone and try new things, go new places. I am grateful for the new experiences in present themselves in my life. I am grateful for the opportunities that come my way each day. Today I re-mind myself to strive to keep an open mind and an open heart for I recognize that when I spread my wings I reap many rewards.

The Boston Globe names Crane Beach in Ipswich one of New England’s Best Beaches. It is great to see this local beach made the list:
We happen to love Crane Beach, with its undulating dunes and secret maritime forest, and so do the folks at NationalGeographic.com. They hailed it as one of the Top 10 US Family Beaches. “Calm waters, warm tidal pools, and on-site amenities such as a snack bar . . . make this an ideal destination for families,” they noted. Not to mention the pure powdery-softness of the sand, and the cool views of the Great House, rising over the beach.
I know Crane Beach is a fabulous beach for the reasons the Boston Globe cites, warm tidal pools and powdery soft sands but for me there is a beach that rises above the cut of all of New England’s Best Beaches and that beach has a view of Crane Beach. (more…)

More often than not it seems as though I have way too much on my plate. School, work, family, take up a lot of my time and goals I have set for myself often become stressful tasks to work through. In these times I know I need to step back and give myself the time to accomplish my goals and recognize that I can only do so much in a day…
“In seeking to accomplish my goals, I take one goal at a time and one day at a time. In seeking to accomplish my goals, I try not set too many goal in front of myself or strive too far beyond my physical and emotional means. In seeking to accomplish goals, I realize that I am Human and can only do so much each day. I recognize that the key to achieving my goals is to set them in a reality based time frame and give myself time to not only accomplish my goals but also to enjoy my life.” – Pamela J. Leavey
Accomplishing goals are about seizing the opportunity to get things done, rather than procrastinating.
