On the horizon the skies may look gloomy, but the there is always sunshine waiting behind those clouds. Today, I re-mind myself that I can choose to be gloomy when life has me down, or I can choose to be the sun, bursting through the clouds, making the choice to shine in spite of whatever weighs heavy upon my life.

Sometimes we sail through life, not thinking about how fragile it can be. Today, I remind myself that each moment is precious, and it is up to me to make the most of it. I do this, make the most of each moment, by choosing happiness to be my guide throughout today and everyday.

The butterfly is a symbol of transformation. Today, I re-mind myself that transformation brings both grief and happiness to our lives and each has lessons for us to learn from. Nature is a powerful teacher, showing us the transient existence of all things. Today I honor that transient existence that couples with transformation and colors our lives.
