My Evening Sky

Through the web of the bare branches of the trees and the electrical wires, this sky was such a gift to watch outside of my desk windows a few nights ago…

I am always grateful for the ever-changing canvas that is the sky.

“An inifinitude of miracles are waiting to emerge into your experience, if you are miracle-ready enough to receive them. Make yourself miracle-ready by giving up judgement, blame, attack, criticism, victimhood, obsession with yesterday or tomorrow, fear-based scripts or explanations and self-centered goals. This makes your mind an open vessel for the love that will then flow into you and through you.” ~~ Marianne Williamson

“It is a fine thing to establish one’s own religion in one’s heart, not to be dependent on tradition and second-hand ideals. Life will seem to you, later, not a lesser, but a greater thing.” ~~ D. H. Lawrence

“Leaving aside the perspective of spiritual practice, even in worldly terms, in terms of our enjoying a happy day-to-day existence, the calmer our minds are, the greater our peace of mind will be and the greater will be our ability to enjoy a happy and joyful life.” ~~ The Dalai Lama

‎”Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love.”(ACIM) This isn’t theory; it’s an unalterable fact, a law of the universe. So don’t worry if you can’t see the result of your forgiveness just yet; know that any mental breakthrough from fear to love generates a cosmic engine of miraculous breakthrough as sure as the sun’s rising or setting. That faith on your part — your knowledge of spiritual law — will be a force magnifier that brings the miracle into manifestation more powerfully & quickly.

Daily Inspiration

Via Marianne Williamson on Facebook:

Dear God,
Please melt the walls
that separate me from others,
imprisoning me within myself.
Please heal my wounded places
and free my heart to love.
Help me connect to others
that I might isolate no more.
I know, dear God,
that when I am alone, I fear;
and when I fear, I self-destruct.
What I suffer now
and have suffered before,
dear God,
may I suffer no more.
Amen
