“Let us cultivate love and compassion, both of which give life true meaning. This is the religion I preach. It is simple. Its temple is the heart. Its teaching is love and compassion. Its moral values are loving and respecting others, whoever they may be. Whether one is a lay person or a monastic, we have no other option if we wish to survive in this world.” ~~ The Dalai Lama

“Surrender to God doesn’t mean you fail to take personal responsibility; quite the opposite. You’re taking responsibility for aligning yourself with the perfection of the universe.” ~~ Marianne Williamson

“The problems of the world will not be solved by the governments of the world. That’s not to say that governments don’t have a profound role to play, because they do. But government is contrained by the inauthentic level of conversation that prevails within it, therefore it will be changes within people’s hearts that drive the changes in government and society rather than changes in government and society that drive change inside people’s hearts.” ~~ Marianne Williamson

“Around the world, people are changing. In time, despite resistance to those changes, the governments, financial structures & other worldly institutions of the world will transform. The revolutionary spirit brought about by the awareness of our oneness will overcome all obstacles to the manifesation of that oneness, even hatred. We need concern ourselves less with the power of that resistance, and more with the power of love to overcome it.” ~~ Marianne Williamson

Beauty is complete order. But most of us have not that sense of beauty in our lives. We may be great artists, great painters, expert in various things, but in our own daily life, with all the anxieties and miseries, we live, unfortunately, a very disordered life. It is a fact. You may a great scientist, you may be a great expert in a subject, but you have your own problems, struggles, pain, anxieties and the rest of it. We are asking, is it possible to live in complete order within, not impose discipline, control, but to inquire into the nature of this disorder, what are the causes, and to dispel, move away, wash away the cause. Then there is a living order in the universe. ~~ J. Krishnamurti
