On The River: The Colors of Spring

Spring has seemed to take her time in getting here… But, the first colors of Spring are finally here:

Ah, Spring! What a glorious sight!

On The River

As I mentioned here the other day, the publisher of Newburyport’s American Yatch Club’s newsletter had asked permission to use one of my photos for their cover. Here’s the front cover featuring a photo of a dory in front of Lowell’s Boat Shop in Amesbury, MA:

The photo featured is one of many I have taken of the dory’s in front of Lowell’s Boat Shop. As it’s one of my favorite subjects to photograph, no doubt there will be more in the months to come. Many thanks to Jim Grenier of Renegade Studios for publishing my photo in the newsletter!

Daily Affirmations: Abundance

When you acknowledge the abundance in your life it opens up avenues to create more. Abundance is not a just about money and things, it’s about all the love, all the good in your life. Those are the true riches of life…

My life is rich with abundance. I have so much to be grateful for. Today I will share my blessings of gratitude and joy with all whom I meet. ~~ Pamela J. Leavey

On The River

I took a drive to Newburyport today to run some errands. As I drove over the Green Bridge and looked out over the river, I was happy to see the docks going into the water. It’s a sure sign of spring and of course after spring comes summer.

I love the seeing all boats in the river. They have been missed…

My Evening Sky

One of the things I love about where I live on the Merrimack River is that I have a wonderful view of the western sky in the evening. After a couple of days of rain, the clouds started to part early this evening and I looked out of my kitchen window to see a streak of pink across the sky. I grabbed my camera and took this from desk window:

And then I headed out the front door to catch a little view of the lovely sky with my lens… (more…)
