Today, I affirm that I am fully capable of blossoming like a flower, gracing my life with possibilities and bliss. I recognize that my life is rich and colorful.

Today, I affirm that each day is an opportunity to redefine my life from who I am in the world, to how I live in the world. Nothing is ever written in stone. Change happens, moment to moment, hour to hour, day to day. One moment I might be on the edge and the next I might be soaring in the sky. As I strive to be in the moment each day, I keep myself open to redefine who I am and how I live.

Today, I re-mind myself of the importance of taking time for myself, especially in the midst of change and upheaval in my life. I affirm to myself that I am renewed and revived by the quiet moments I find in the midst of my day. I stop, if only for a moment, take a deep breath, close my eyes, envision a beautiful place, I exhale, open my eyes, and feel gratitude for the moment. For in that moment I am renewed. I affirm today and everyday that I will take time for myself, even if it is the briefest moment.

“Today, I honor the place in myself that knows exactly who I am. I allow myself to be filled with a warm sense of comfort and strength by honoring all that I am. I thank the Spirit that moves through me filling my heart, mind and soul with purpose and direction. I thank the Spirit that moves through me for bringing my endeavors and creations into fruition. I go forth on this day and every day, knowing that I will do my best, in all that I do.” – Pamela J. Leavey

Today’s affirmation is a re-minder today from Marianne Williamson’s Illuminata, that I always find to be helpful in times of stress…
“Dear God,
I surrender to You my striving.
I let go all need to effort or to struggle.
I relax deeply into things exactly as they are.
I accept life, that it might move through me with grace.
Amen.”

In these uncertain economic times, so many people, including myself, struggle daily to get by. It is easy to fall into the trap of concern. It can be difficult to pull up out of that trap. When I find myself slipping into worry-mode, feeling alone, like the boat anchored beyond the dock, I take the time to re-align my thinking and recognize the abundance around me.
“Today, I re-mind myself that I have everything that I need. I breathe deep and release all fears of financial concerns, money and prosperity. I acknowledge that I am abundant in all areas of my life.”
