Daily Affirmations: Life’s Path is Always Changing

Today, I re-mind myself that life’s path is always changing and new opportunities constantly appear on the horizon. hellcat swamp trail
While choosing the path of least resistance might seem to be the best way to go, it certainly does not bring challenges with it, in most cases, and so there is less opportunity to learn and grow. One of the greatest aspects of life is the constant opportunities that come our way teaching us to see things in a new light and appreciate things from a different perspective. I am grateful for the new paths that appear on my life’s journey. I welcome the opportunity to learn, today and everyday. I start this day with gratitude for all there is and set my intent on embracing change. And so it is… Intent makes manifest.

Today, I remind myself that all relationships are assignments. Whether I learn the hardest lesson on this day, or I am gifted with a lesson that brings me joy; today, I thank the Creator for allowing me to participate in this learning experience. Musings: The Path Less Traveled

hellcat dikeThe dike trail at Hellcat Swamp in the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge was opened for a week not long ago. As I walked the trail on the outer western edge of the Refuge, along the banks of the Plum Island River, I could feel the sun so warm and comforting on my back.

There was a special sense of peace felt there walking in this space that see when ever I make a trip to the Refuge.. I asked so often as I stop at Northpool Overlook, “what is out there?” (more…)

Daily Affirmations: Finding the Light

There are days when we struggle to see the light for the weight of the troubles in our lives feels as though it draws a curtain down before our eyes, shielding us from the light that surely would lift our spirits. Today, I re-mind myself that the light is all around me. Sometimes I simply need to look a little harder to find it. And so it is… I look for the light in even the darkest places, despite the heaviness in my heart, for I know that the light will fill my soul with joy.
