Greetings of Day to All! I’ve been watching a pair of Carolina wrens in my yard and thinking they need a little wren house. This is the first time I’ve seen two of them together. Wrens hold a special place in my heart. They are small and gentle birds, delicate like a dogwood flower. Be kind to yourself and others today…

Good Morning Everyone! It might be February, but the sun in front porch feels like spring. I love these mornings in the winter, when I can sit comfortably on the porch with my coffee in the morning. Even if just a few minutes on a chillier day, it lifts my sprits.

Good Morning Everyone! Everyday I wake to the reality that the pandemic rages on, and I remind myself, that in time it will pass, and some semblance of normalacy will return to our lives. I think of the flowers growing in the woodlands, their life, tenuous and brief, yet so filled with promise. As I look outside my desk window at the snow covering my yard I am thinking forward to brighter, more colorful days. While winter has its own special beauty, it cannot compare to the colors of spring and summer. As we wait for winter to come to end, there is always gratitude in the knowing that seasons end, seasons change, just as we do. I embrace that gratitude today and welcome change into my life.
