In life there are always choices. We can focus on the good or focus on the bad. Today, I choose to spend this day cherishing my life and all the people who are in my life.

Today, I re-mind myself to rise above the things that hold me back and commit myself to soar on the winds of all possibilities.

I love learning. I know that not everyone feels the same way I do about learning, but even in the most casual and unexpected sense we learn new things everyday. It is the way that life unfolds around us, that opportunities arise for learning in our everyday experiences.
Today, I affirm, I am open to learn new things. I am willing to experience new experiences, today and everyday. I recognize that learning even the simplest thing, empowers me just little more.

Today, I make certain that I am clear in my heart and mind about my goals and my desires. I open my-self to the divine possibilities that flow from clear intent. I release excess attachment to my goals and desires to the vast spans of the Universe trusting that all that is meant to be, will be.

A boat rarely sits idly in the water. As water is in constant motion, so too is the anchored or moored boat. Our minds are like boats in the water, in constant motion. We think, we analyze, we worry and concern, we plan ahead, look behind and we dream when we are asleep. It takes practice to calm the mind to stillness. That stillness, however brief, is tantamount to a calm moment for a boat in the water.
Today, I re-mind myself to take a moment or more and refine my practice of being in the still. For in those moments of being in the still, comes the greatest clarity.

Yesterday morning, I woke up with a slight pain by my right shoulder-blade. This is a spot in my upper-back that over-work and stress usually gravitate to when I do not take enough time to stretch and release the tension created from over-work and stress. I had to forge on yesterday to finish work for two of my Fall classes and needless to say despite stretching every so often during the day, I did not manage to release that tension in my upper back.
Today, with less to accomplish and sometime to relax, I re-mind myself of this affirmation from Louise Hay: “My mind is flexible and peaceful, and so is my body.”
It is so important for each of us to take time to unwind and relax… That is my goal for this day.
