Daily Affirmations: Move Forward with Purpose

How easy it is sometimes to let the littlest thing get in the way of our joy, let alone the things we need to accomplish each day. When worries take over in our heads we become slave to those worrisome thoughts and all else becomes clouded with the skies of a brewing storm.

Today, I re-mind myself to release my worries like rain falling on the earth, and accept that I am sometimes powerless in the things I cannot fix. Rather than allow worry to cloud my day, I will take a deep breath and release my worries. I will be in the moment and move forward with the purpose of the day’s tasks. Intent makes manifest… What needs to get done, will.

Daily Affirmations: I’ve Got This

Today, as I see the mess of things to get done pile up, I step back and put each task into perspective so that I can get the tasks done one by one. Sometimes there is so much to do that it seems overwhelming, like a swarming flock of birds circling about, and it is easy to get pulled down by worry over the sheer volume of things to do. I start this day with a deep breath and the intent to move forward through my tasks with ease instead of stress. Intent makes manifest. I’ve got this…

Daily Affirmations: My Life Is Rich

Today I affirm that my life is rich. I am blessed with an abundance of all good things in my life and I am filled with gratitude for all that I have. I seek this day and every day to share my abundance with all who my life touches that I might make a difference for others, as some have made a difference for me. Riches are not monetary, riches are the blessings great and small that lift us up emotionally and bring us joy. Indeed, today and every day, I re-mind myself that my life is rich.

Daily Affirmations: Procrastination

Today, I will set a new course in my life and begin to make changes to when and how I do things that need to get done. I often procrastinate, wait until the last moment and this causes unnecessary stress on me. Instead of getting things done, I worry myself thinking about the fact that I have a list of things to do. Today, I will start with my list of things to do and get them done, one by one. There is nothing healthy or productive about procrastination. I affirm to release procrastination from my life, today and everyday, as I walk my daily path.

Quote of the Day: Pema Chodron

“The problem is that the desire to change is fundamentally a form of aggression toward yourself. The other problem is that our hangups, unfortunately or fortunately, contain our wealth. Our neurosis and our wisdom are made out of the same material. If you throw out your neurosis, you also throw out your wisdom.” ~ Pema Chodron

Daily Affirmations: I Am Not My Circumstances

Today, I re-mind myself that I am not my circumstances. Circumstances can weigh us down and cause us to feel as though our lives are filled with burdens and bad luck. So it is important to remember that these circumstances are temporary.

I choose to be happy in my life, despite my circumstances. I choose to live in the moment and find instances of grace and joy in the now, despite my circumstances. Circumstances will change, and yes, sometimes things will get worse before they get better, but I am not my circumstances. I am empowered in the knowledge that I am not my circumstances. As surely as bird will take flight, my circumstances will change.  Namaste… Pamela
