I have extensive experience proofreading and editing in a wide variety of mediums, from web content to print marketing material, from academic papers to academic journal articles, from essays and poetry to fiction and nonfiction. My rates for proofreading, editing and writing are listed below.
- Proofreading: $3.50 – $4.50 per page (.014 – .018 per word)
- Light Editing: $4.50 – $6 per page (.018 – .024 per word)
- Heavy Editing: $6.50 – $8 per page (.026 – .028 per word)
- Writing: $50 per page (.2 per word)
**One page is approximately 250 words.
Beyond my hands on experience, I hold a Contemporary Communications Certificate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a Journalism Certificate and a B.A. in Digital Communications and Writing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as an M.A. in English – Writing and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Studies from Salem State University.
