A Sign Of Spring

Spring has arrived at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Although some of the smaller migratory birds are still no where to be seen, the Great White Egrets are starting to pop up in the marshes.

Daily Affirmations: Change

Today, I re-mind myself that in working through changes in our life, we run through a variety of emotions that are normal and necessary to process the changes. Change isn’t always easy, and although we must embrace the change, we also may allow ourselves to feel thoroughly the anticipation, sadness, and even grief that might come up in the process of change. When we work through our feelings rather than cast them aside, we come out stronger and more at peace.
