Daily Affirmations: I Release the Stress and Pain

In recent weeks I have been working on the things I carry around with me that I need to release. I struggle with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, along with Osteoarthritis. Add in General Anxiety Disorder, and you’ve got a sometimes debilitating mix of fatigue, stress, and pain. Two weeks ago, I started repeating a daily mantra to release the emotional aspect of health issues wearing me down. Our emotions play a big role in our health. When we can release our emotions that are affecting us, it makes a huge difference in the way we feel. I hope this simple affirmations helps others as it has helped me…

“Today, I release the stress and pain I am carrying. When stress and pain arise in my day, I take a moment to acknowledge what I am feeling and release it. With a deep breath in, on my exhale I let it go. Each time throughout the day that I release the stress and pain I am carrying, the burden becomes a little lighter.” – Pamela Leavey

Our intent can be very powerful when we put it to work… Intent makes manifest.

Daily Affirmations: Staying Afloat in Turbulent Times

We’re all searching for ways to stay afloat in the midst of turbulent times. Many of us have lost our anchors, be it our jobs – our financial stability or physical contact with the people in our lives who are often there when we need someone to hold us up. It is a tough time for everyone right now. And more then ever we need to pull together, and help each through this unprecedented time of social and physical distancing.

Today, I re-mind myself that in this time or so many people, all around the world, staying at home, staying sheltered, staying afloat — we can all work together to make our world a better place. I set my intent today and everyday to do my part in working to make the world a better place and strive help keep others afloat. And so it is… Intent makes manifest. Namaste.

Daily Affirmations: Look for the Little Miracles

As daily life for so many around the United States and the world slows down in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, today is a good day to remind ourselves to look for the little miracles that happen everyday around us. Some of us may wonder, how can little miracles be happening as people are out of work, staying at home to flatten the curve of the spread of the virus, and people are dying.

But if we all look closely and strive to be in the moment, we will see the grace unfolding around us. That grace is the phone calls from friends and family. That grace is stepping outside to hear the birds sing. That grace is seeing the spring flowers bloom, watching the children play… There is truly so much to be grateful for right now. And so it is, I set my intent today, and every day, to acknowledge the little miracles that unfold around me and be grateful for each and every one of those miracles. Intent makes manifest. Namaste…

Daily Affirmations: Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

Like everyone, it has taken me a few days to really wrap my head around the global Coronavirus pandemic we are in the midst of. The bottomline is we are in this together. As we each strive to keep ourselves safe and healthy, it is tantamount that we all stay focused and centered, and we each remember to be kind to one another. Kindness comes in many forms. If we’re shut in alone or with others, it means reaching out to our friends and family to see how they are holding up.

Today, I re-mind myself that even in the midst of a pandemic, I can make a difference in the lives of others. I affirm my own well-being and I vow to check on my friends and family and let them know they are loved. I set my intent to make a difference in the lives of others today, and every day. Intent makes manifest. And so it is… Namaste.

Daily Affirmations: Staying Focused

It’s hard to stay focused when things feel like they are spinning out of control around you. Lately, I find myself easily distracted by the news and I forget to take a moment to ground myself. It is in those moments when we become easily distracted that we most need to stop, take a moment, breathe and release our distraction into the wind and find our footing again.

Today, I re-mind myself that staying focused is tantamount to minimizing the stress in my life when the world feels as though it is spinning out of control. I take a deep breath and release. I repeat that breathing, that very cleansing and healing breathing until I find my center and I feel confident that I’ve got this. I am capable of staying focused no matter what is happening in the world around me. I set my intent today and every day to remaining focused. I know I have the tools inside of myself to find my center and I affirm my intent to stay centered. And so it is… Intent makes manifest. Namaste…
